Evan B. Harris is a self-taught painter and illustrator hailing from Medford, Oregon. He finds and collects curious artifacts as inspiration - a practice his father taught him to do, and something he's honored ever since. This fascination with the feeling of ages past also makes its way into Evan's work through his use of aged paints and ink, as well as his unique process of sanding finished work to give that magically antique aura. His subject matter also gives his work ambiguous origins; beautiful, often nautical scenes that conjure strange and haunting narratives within onlookers. He currently creates in his Cabinet of Curiousities-esque studio in Northeast Portland and plays music in his band, E.B. Harris and The Afterlife Revival. He also sells prints!
