Jordan Hufnagel
Jordan Hufnagel is a custom bicycle builder from Indiana. His bicycles are heavily influenced by his love of a simple, clean, utilitarian aesthetic and he pours those notions into each frame he builds. He currently splits his workshop with another kind of bike builder, James Crowe, who fabricates custom motorcycles. The two help out and influence one another's bicycle building and also manage to go on lots of woodland adventures to test out their creations. Hufnagel and Crowe are currently collaborating on plans to make motorcycles that can handle mountainous and other difficult terrain so that they can serve to be the perfect adventure vehicle. They hope to influence people to get up and out of their homes and towns to explore the scenery around them, engaging with the epic nature-scape that makes up America, and specifically the Northwest. Hufnagel also has plans to build a stylized, practical commuter bike for those of us hoping to keep our adventures within the city limits. Based primarily on the bikes of french messenger boys, they have a classic feel to them: brass headplates, charcoal bodies, slick and shiny fenders. Keep a lookout for this exciting design, and check out Jordan's current bikes through his site, as well as James Crowe's!
