Nicole Lavelle is an artist and designer whose work is deeply language-based and rooted in communication and engagement with the public. She is currently the Director of Creative Projects at PinBall Publishing and manages print and web design, social media and marketing for Scout Books. Her work is largely about place, with California and Oregon often appearing as inspiration. Beginning in May she'll be adventuring away from the West Coast and across the country via bamboo-bicycle, starting a residency in North Carolina, and a fellowship in Utah!
